Itinerary

  • Day : 1-2 Thimphu

Arrive in Paro. On arrival you will be greeted by the chauffeur and the guide who will take you to a drive to Thimphu. During the wonderful drive you will view a peaceful city without traffic lights and far away from the hustles and bustles of the city. Go on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu and visit the monasteries , museums, Chorten Memorial, the National Library, hand-made paper factory, the Mini Zoo etc.

  • Day : 3-4 Punakha

Drive from Thimphu to Punakha. Enjoy the most relaxing and peaceful ride with the spectacular view of heavenly Himalayas at Dorchula Pass complimented with a soothing climate.Make your day more adventures with activities like trekking, rafting, kayaking and inner-tubing on Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers.

Drive from Punakha to Gangtey. Today you will head towards Gangtey. Fall in love with the most magnificient spot of Bhutan, Gangtey which is rewarded with dense forest and wide flat valleys. Trekking to the beautiful Phobjikha valley would be the best option at this place. You can also try indulge in fishing, take up pony rides, treks and feed monks-in-training at the Gangtey Shedra

  • Day : 5-7 Paro
Day : 5-7 Paro

Drive from Gangtey to Paro ( 6 Hours Approx. ). Today the chauffeur will take you ahead to Paro. You will learn that Paro is popularly called as Land of the Thunder Dragon’ has some of the oldest monasteries and temples for its tourist to visit. Start sightseeing tour and head towards the visit Rinpung Dzong , commonly called as fortress of the heap of jewels. Then continue with the visit to Taktshang Lhakhang Monastery Lhakhang Karpo ,Lhakhang Nagpo) and Rig Sum Goenpa in Haa valley. Relax in wonderful hotels and go for short treks to explore the beautiful valley.

Amankora Paro, situated in Balakha Village, 30 minutes from Paro International Airport , has 24 suites of contrasts rustic elements with contemporary design.
